I am revamping this blog from my personal little corner on the web to a place where I can store my thoughts & findings on social media. I am definitely not an expert, but I have found quite a few handy tips, tricks and tools for use of social media online. Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In and of course blogs and email have sparked my interest and I see a great added value there.

In the past year I wrote a few articles on Geekstijl, a Dutch blog for and by geeks. Recently the focus has become more clear to comics, fantasy, RPG and all sorts of interesting topics around that. I am still a big fan, even if I do not write posts there anymore. It’s a great blog that appeals to a large audience, by showing a great variety of examples from what geeks favor.

For my job, there is a question of how SME companies in life sciences companies can benefit from social media. And how can they be convinced of this added value. So there are some goals and thoughts behind this blog, hopefully in a few months time I can report back on those. Maybe even call myself a Social Media Expert. Although, maybe I should not aim for social status but for a good informative blog that inspires others to dive into this world of online profiling.
